Empire magazine cover: organising the photo shoot

Today I took photo's for my front cover of Empire magazine. I took on some original ideas as well as some new ones too.
The location is a corridor with a blank wall which allows Amber to stand out in the photo. Having a simple background supports some of Empire's layouts as they too have gradient backgrounds in some of their covers.
The notebook is also involved as the centre piece prop of the story as well as in the cover.
Amber is wearing comfortable, teenage clothes which support her age and the target audience.

Here 'Carla' is hiding herself with the notebook, avoiding anyone to see it's contents but herself. It also shows her shy character as well as her obsession of the notebooks powers.

Here shows a different perspective of her holding the book, as if she's trying to keep it away from anyone's grasp.

This long shot demonstrates a new way of hiding the notebook and highlights her shy character too. It could also fit well as a front cover for Empire magazine as a lot of their covers have a long shot involved.

Another version of  'Carla' hiding behind the notebook, but this time she's facing the camera and her eyes are looking towards something else. I wanted her eye contact away from the audience as this shows that she's always occupying herself with her match making role.
