The notebook is leather bound and the paper has an old, fabric like quality which makes it appear ancient. I decided to place 'X's down the centre of ever page. This makes the book unique yet odd and the 'X's will be used as a way to couple people together.
I had damage the book in different ways so for it to appear like it's been treated badly or that it has been used regularly.
The beginning of the book is in fountain pen and the end of the book hopefully appears more modern with the written tools e.g. biro pen.
